Chaplain
Ken

Ken served in the US Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate. He was assigned to RVAH3 and RVAH1 at NAS Sanford, FL and NAS Albany, GA. Sea duty was aboard the USS Saratoga (CVA 60) in power plants and fuel systems. He is also an active member of AMVETS and Sons of the American Legion.

Sergeant at Arms
Rich

A musician in his youth, Rich tested for and was accepted into the 26th Army Band, Fort Wadsworth, NY prior to his enlistment. He remained a band member for one year before being assigned to th prestigious Army Honor Guard where he was the bugler and rendered Taps at the US National Cemetery in Long Island, NY. Rich is also an active member of AMVETS, Ocala Elk's Lodge, and his community Veteran organization.

Finance Officer
Chip

Chip is a US Army Veteran. He works full time in Ocala. In his spare time, he trains and certifies K-9's for the state of Florida. Chip is a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, and Korean War Veterans Association, holding officer positions in three of those. HE is also a member of the Marion County Veterans Council, Sons of the American Legion, and the Ocala Coin Club.

Executive Committee
Christy & Cliff

Christy joined the Army right out of high school. She went to basic training at Anniston, Alabama and was hand-picked by brigadier general Mildred Bailey to serve as the secretary to the medical director of the US army health clinic in the Pentagon. She served there until early 1975 when she left the service as a SP5.  After leaving military service she used the GI Bill to attend George Mason University and attained a bachelor's degree in accountancy. She later passed the CPA exam and worked as an auditor and tax preparer for 30 years.

She has two son's and 3 grandsons who live and Northern California and Oregon.

 

Cliff served four years in the US Air Force stationed at SAC bases, Westover AFB
in Springfield, MA, and McCoy AFB in Orlando, FL. He is an active member of the American
Legion and AMVETS He is also Life Member of the Elks Club.

Commander
Michelle

Michelle served four years as an Interior Communications Technician for the US Navy stationedat Pearl Harbor. The GI Bill helped pay for the nursing degree that led to the balance of her military career as an Air Force critical care nurse with assignments in Texas, Nebraska, and Germany. When not making memories with her grandson, her time is filled caring for a farm innorthern Marion County and volunteering to help others. She is also a member of VFW Post4209.

Vice Commander
Todd 

U.S. Marine Corps veteran from 1982 to 1990. He then served as a police officer from 1990 to 2000 in Connecticut. Since his arrival in Ocala Todd has been serving the Veteran community. He is currently the Executive Director of Veterans Helping Veterans USA.

Adjutant
Tom

Tom’s 21 years of Naval service included tours on USS Nimitz (CVN-68), USS America (CV-66),
USS Dahlgren (DDG-43) and USS Comte de Grasse (DD-974). His shore duty tours included
Patrol Squadron 4 in the Philippines, the Naval Security Group at Fort Meade, MD and at
NATO’s Military Headquarters in Belgium.

Brian
